This website is about the safety of children and women in the society. As a woman, a mother and a teacher, I am rather concerned of recent alarming crimes against them.
What's happening to the society now? It is saturated with rapists, pedophiles and murderers. They either get away or they just get a smack on their hands and are let loose to repeat the crimes. I am shocked by the decision of one of the judges where a man was let off for raping a 10 year-old because she "looked 16". The same judge also made an inappropriate comment to a man who was convicted of raping a 4-year-old, saying he should "buy her a bicycle" - what does that supposed to mean?
Why are they not punished for what they have done? - punished enough so that they know how horrific and gruesome the crimes are?
Take the latest pedophilia rape case. A 2-year-old has been savagely murdered after being raped by her own 21-year-old uncle. If the government introduced better schemes for rehabilitating the criminals, rather than just putting them behind bars, wouldn't that make a difference already? If capital punishment is to be reintroduced in this country, these animals would think twice about it before they strike again. "Life sentence" does not mean anything- they can be free in 10 years or so. How is that a life sentence? How can they face the lives that they took away from those innocent people?
